In the past 37 years, over two million refugees have arrived in the United States in search of asylum. Upon arrival, they are offered governmental assistance, providing them with only the basic necessities required to survive. Without adequate resources, refugees are left to navigate a new country independently. Female Refugees of the Future is a youth-powered non-profit focused on helping refugee, first generation, and immigrant womxn between the ages of 8-18 through service and education. We create a safe space for girls to pursue their passions by providing college counseling, tutoring, and advocacy training.
We believe all womxn can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.
Our mission is to empower refugee, first generation, and immigrant womxn through service, education, and community engagement.
At Female Refugees of the Future, we hope to insight change in our communities by uplifting young womxn to reach their full potential.
