Yasmin
Yasmin is recent Duke University graduate who studied Biology, Chemistry and Global Health. Yasmin was inspired to be a part of the founding team as she has spent many years volunteering with Somali immigrants and refugees. Her previous endeavors led to her interest in decreasing healthcare disparities as well as raising awareness. Yasmin has implemented mental and sexual health awareness into our goals. She facilitates health education workshops, works with healthcare providers to further our mission, and promotes mentorship within our organization. Her problem solving and analytical skills have helped FRF take off and continue to impact the lives of refugee women. She hopes to one day decrease health disparities as a physician.
